High Bow Design

The key features of the Panga 26 design is a high bow of almost 5’ with a beam of 7’6”, gunwale height of 2’7” at the front and 2’2” at the cockpit. The high bow and gunwale provide buoyancy and elevation for casting and retrieval of heavy loads. The high sharp entry along with reverse chines also give the boat a great angle of attack in rough seas and minimizes the spray coming on board. In addition, this bow design gives the vertical space which is needed for a seating configuration which typically can only be found in deeper v-boats.  She has all this while only drawing 11.5 inches and is usually customized with a hydraulic jack plate to take advantage of its shallow draft.

Superior Self Bailing

The boat is self bailing and its recessed drain design is far superior to most boats and proves it to quickly drain water and easily remove all dirt from the main deck surface. Everyone hates spending 20 minutes in the corner of a boat trying to exit the dirt, soap, and water from the poorly designed drains. You will not have to worry about that with this design. Our premium models have sufficiently raised floor heights to ensure that even with weight your boat will properly self-bail.

Seating Arrangement

The design of the bow seating has many advantages with safety being at the top of the list. There are multiple adjustable table options in the middle of the seating which raises up to different heights serving as a fantastic place for entertaining or having lunch. Lower the table flush with the seating and you have a huge sturdy casting deck for fishing. If you are just out cruising it becomes a very comfortable sun lounge deck with custom made cushions and fully removable, adjustable height and adjustable angle, fwd facing backrests.

 

Sufficiently recessed fwd and aft seating is an option that many bay boats are lacking, but you will love the perfectly recessed seating option of the Panga which allows for family and friends to safely lounge up forward and back aft while running full speed. The aft seating has quick release backrest options with foldable arms leaving a clean stern for fishing when removed or for easily storing when not in use. Seating also exists on the forward part of the center console. Helm seat options include stainless or aluminum rocket launchers, reversible seats, and multiple fiberglass live bait well seat options with rocket launchers and built in insulated cooler.

Storage Features

Many upgrades have been made to our newest models and now we offer an option for large self bailing insulated fish boxes under the port and starboard bow seating which have smooth finished gel coated interiors. These conveniently drain overboard above the waterline without the need for problematic pumps. In addition, the center section of the bow seating along with the forward console seat boast storage areas that are both self-bailing with properly placed recessed drains to ensure dry floors in your storage compartments. The fiberglass helm seats include live wells with rounded corners and smooth gel coat finish blue color inside for longer bait life as well as a built-in insulated cooler under the helm seat offering plenty of storage space.

 

Under the transom seating there is more storage with an easily removable storage bin. Under these fiberglass storage bins there is another large area for storage in the bilge which serves as a great place for beach chairs or whatever else you can think of. You can literally climb into our huge bilges compartments which makes maintenance so easy. Our self-bailing anchor locker is also large enough for most people to climb in which makes navigation light maintenance far easier and gives more than enough room for anchors, ropes or general storage. In addition, we can customize your gunnels with many different types of storage inserts for fishing tackle and accessories.

Custom T-Top

All Banks Panga’s T-tops are custom built right here in the Carolinas to the highest quality and strength using oversized 2" aluminum. All tops are a 100% welded piece. They are custom fit for the boat and console then mounted to both the deck and console in eight locations. It can include hard tops or canvas soft tops with electronics box and welded tabs for anything from led lights to outriggers.

Choose from an array of colors for the soft top and over 6,000 colors for powder coating the aluminum T-top. They will be pre-drilled for running wires, so no need to worry about future electronics installations and friction doors for the ebox provide an easy access. All tops come with four rocket launchers and an anchor light as standard, but we can customize them or design new ones to suit your needs.

Engine Power

Banks Pangas are usually rigged out with a Yamaha or Suzuki 4 stroke with a range of sizes to fit the customers' needs.  Hydraulic steering, hydraulic jack plates, and multi function controls with fuel management systems to show off its superior efficiency are common options.  All engines are warrantied through registered Yamaha and Suzuki dealers and may include specials for up to 6 years. Best engine ranges for the 26' are 150 HP to 250 HP.

Navigation Tech

Garmin Charplotter Echomap plus 94sv touch screen 9” with keyed-assist, CHIRP Sonar, CHIRP ClearVu and CHIRP SideVu, detailed Bluechart g3 coastal, WiFi, quick draw contours, record and rewind, Panoptix Live Scope ready, NMEA 2000 network ready. View all this data including accepting text messages, emails and even phone calls right on your Echomap plus display with a NMEA network. This with the ability to access and update your charts with ActiveCaptain App, plan and save waypoints and routes between the app and your plotter at home or on board. Even add autopilot and engine data to the networked Garmin display if desired. Customize your electronics with any size screen or Simrad products. Banks Panga's different console models all provide ample space for flush mounting the electronics you desire.
