Banks Panga has been working closely with Imemsa in a combined effort to design a new fully finished panga for the American market - the beautifully finished IM 28A with all the options you are accustomed to built into a panga design. Many crucial regulatory and functional design improvements have been made to meet the demands of Banks Panga and the American customer and we are proud to offer it for sale here in the USA.
Banks Pangas IM series also includes more affordable traditionally designed pangas with many of the same key improvements in every size, such as the IM 267, IM 26, and IM 22. Fully finished models are designated by an A - such as the Banks Panga IM 28A.
Most of the IM series pangas are a lighter and more narrow design such as you would typically find in traditional pangas. These attributes help it to be some of our most efficient boats with jaw dropping numbers to beat any boat’s fuel consumption that is not a panga. Except for the fully finished A models the IM series does not have a smooth finish gel coated interior because it is a one piece mold and this helps us offer it at a lower price point. They will still share many of the same traits as our other Banks Panga models such as options for self bailing decks and internally mounted EPA approved fuel tanks of larger sizes.
